M A S S A is a one-week yearly residency curated by A.ROMY and Margaux Derhy happening on the shores of Morocco. During first edition in 2019, 4 artists (Maya Gering, Bertrand Frompeyrine, Margaux Derhy and Caroline Delveaux) have been selected to paint the caves situated on the beach of Massa and in which fishermen live. During the week, artists and Moroccan fishermen get to know each other, bond, and eventually work together. M A S S A turns out to be not only an artistic residency but rather human experience.
